Myriam is a Mexican psychologist and psychoanalyst. Based in Canada since 2004, she practises in Montreal, Quebec, providing psychotherapy primarily to asylum seekers. She is a member of the Atenea International Network (Red Internacional Atenea). As a social innovation entrepreneur, she is currently developing CASA (Psychological Support Centre for Asylum Seekers / Centro de acompañamiento psicológico para personas que solicitan asilo), a project dedicated to mental health advocacy for displaced individuals.
