Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, where he also teaches Sociology of Religion, Intercultural Communication, Languages of Communication and Pastoral Studies. Previously a Visiting Professor in Rome at the Pontifical Salesian University and the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences "Auxilium", he has held visiting positions at: ARCIS University, Chile (2009) Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina (2013) "Don Bosco" University, El Salvador (2015) International Institute for Higher Studies, Mexico City (2015) In 2000, he founded S.A.L. (Solidarity with Latin America), a non-profit organisation active in international cooperation and migrant support work in Italy.
