The International Atenea Network, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Ulysses Syndrome Institute, Voces Amigas de Esperanza Internacional (VOADES), the Citizen Initiative for the Promotion of a Culture of Dialogue A.C., and the Diploma in Psychological First Aid for Migrants, Refugees, and Displaced Persons, through the Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Migration and Mental Health, are honoured to invite mental health professionals, researchers, academics, community leaders, activists, students, young professionals, NGO representatives, and the general public to share their experiences and contributions at the
OBJECTIVE
To create a space for the exchange of support experiences, research, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the mental health protection of immigrant individuals.

PARTICIPATION MODALITIES
- Speaker attending in person
- Remote speaker (This mode of participation will be exclusive to those who are outside of Mexico and unable to travel to the event venue, provided that they meet the requirements of this call for papers).
The papers to be presented can be individual or collaborative, with a maximum of 3 people. At the time of the presentation at the event, only two people will be present when it comes to collaborative work.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING PAPERS
1. Verify that the papers to be presented align with one of the themes of the International Congress on Migration and Mental Health
2. Submit an abstract of the paper in Spanish or English to congress@theathenanet.org Register
The abstracts must meet the following requirements:
The abstract should include: Theme, title of the paper; name(s) and contact information of all authors (email, institution, professional profile, and phone number).
(correo electrónico, institución, perfil profesional y número de teléfono).
If it is a theoretical, methodological, or intervention paper, the abstract must provide sufficient detail to allow the Committee to assess the quality of the work according to the objectives and themes of the congress.
Abstracts based on research results should be written with the following structure: Background, context, methods, and results.
Trasfondo, antecedente o contexto, métodos, resultados.
3. Once the paper abstract has been evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the International Congress on Migration and Mental Health, you will be notified of acceptance or rejection via email. The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.
4. Full papers must be submitted by the specified deadline, along with the acceptance letter and a brief CV.
